PreKindergarten Program 2013-2014, Academic Performance
This report evaluates students’ achievement in the ÁùºÏ±¦µä pre-K program during the 2013–2014 school year, based on Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-IV (PPVT) and Test de VocabularÃo en Imagenes Peabody (TVIP) results.
NCLB Title I, Part A Program Summary, 2013-2014
This report summarizes ÁùºÏ±¦µä federal NCLB Title I compliance and service data from the 2013-2014 school year. More than $23 million was spent to serve more than 45,000 students. State academic test results showed that students at Title I schools had lower passing rates than students at non-Title I schools.
2013-2014 Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Update
This report analyzes the effectiveness of ÁùºÏ±¦µä's SEL program considering program implementation and cohort. Examinations of program outcomes across cohort suggest the longer schools have participated in SEL, the more positive the outcome.
State Compensatory Education and High School Accelerated Instruction, 2013-2014
The disparity in passing rates of at-risk and not at-risk students decreased for nearly half of STAAR subjects and grades, but increased in nearly as many cases. However, the gap narrowed to the smallest measured in six years of graduation rates.
Class of 2014 High School Exit Survey
The purpose of this survey was to monitor high school students’ perceptions of their high school experience. Results are used to improve the campus environment and program supports for students, and in monitoring the district’s strategic plan Goal 3.
ÁùºÏ±¦µä REACH Program Update: 2013-2014 Participant Feedback
A total of 620 staff from all 38 REACH schools responded to the Spring survey and 149 staff at the 18 newest REACH schools attended focus groups to provide their thoughts about specific aspects of ÁùºÏ±¦µä REACH. Results are summarized in this report.
ÁùºÏ±¦µä REACH Program Update: Longitudinal Student Growth
This report describes performance for schools, classrooms, and students at REACH schools, compared with that of students at similar comparison schools. Results suggest REACH likely facilitated meaningful improvements over time.
