School Grief Support Network Initiative: Survey Results, 2018
This report summarizes data gathered from pre- and post-intervention surveys conducted with parents/guardians and teachers of ÁùºÏ±¦µä students who were offered free grief support counseling services during 2017-2018 through a grant funded by The Christi Center.

2017-2018 ACE Afterschool Program Climate Highlights
More students feel safe in their afterschool programs than feel safe during the school day, according to 2017-2018 climate surveys. In addition, in afterschool, many desirable climate factors increased from the 2016–2017 school year to the 2017–2018 school year, while they decreased in the school-day environment.

From Gateway to Project Lead the Way: Tracking Middle School Engineering Participants into High School
The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department in the ÁùºÏ±¦µä (ÁùºÏ±¦µä) administers a national engineering program in middle schools, called Gateway, and in high schools, called Project Lead the Way (PLTW). In this summary, the PLTW courses taken during high school were examined for two cohorts of students who participated in the Gateway program at some point in their middle school years (eighth graders in 2011–2012 and 2012–2013). This report summarizes results from a sample of Dual Language (DL) Program classroom observations conducted in the 2017-2018 school year. Instructional specialists used an instrument to rate aspects of program implementation which included classroom environment and instructional methods.
