Life after graduation from high school and dismissal from special education has several key changes as students attend higher education opportunities. Scholarships
Texas Workforce Commission Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)
Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) can provide support and payment for a wide range of training and education if required for the student with a disability to obtain competitive employment. For example: Students goal is to be a dental hygienist, TWC can provide money toward tuition, books, and uniform (pending household income).

Students who are interested in employment opportunities after high school can access programs that will allow them meaningful employment after graduation and dismissal from special education services.
