Volunteers

School partners support ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD by providing services, programs or donations, or by volunteering their time. These resources help improve the educational outcomes of our students.

Become a Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role in transforming our schools and the educational experience of our students. Just a few hours a week can have a meaningful impact on a school or child. Whether mentoring a student, helping the front office greet visitors, or providing classroom assistance, it's through the efforts of people like you that we can do great things.

How to Get Involved

VICTORY Program
VICTORY (Volunteers In Communities Tutoring Our Responsible Youth) is an ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD Program that offers free tutoring to students in grades 1-12 at designated schools and branches of the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Public Library. Students are matched on a 1:1 basis with volunteers from the greater ÁùºÏ±¦µä community. The student/tutor pairs meet at regularly scheduled sessions in the library for a minimum of an hour each week to work on homework assignments and skills for which the student needs extra reinforcement and practice. Tutoring sessions are held in the late afternoon or early evening on Monday through Thursday.
