Access Badges
The Office of Talent Strategy provides badge access to all district employees. Employees must have an active employee identification number in order to receive a badge. All access badge requests for campus-based staff must be verified before they are processed.
Badge Requests
New employees will take a picture for their badge at their I-9 session. After completing onboarding and upon receipt of an employee identification number, the ϱ Badge Team will begin the process of creating your badge. When your badge is ready for pick-up, you will be notified via email. You must bring a valid photo ID.
Requests for a replacement badge due to a name change, job/title change, or loss or damage must be submitted through ϱ Help.
- Log into the .
- Go to the “ϱ Help” tile.
- Go to “Tickets”.
- Click “+ New Ticket"
- Click "Other Requests" then "ϱ Badge Request"
- Select the reason for your request, then complete and submit your ticket.
Badges, including replacements, are provided to all ϱ employees at no cost.
Requests for change of an employee’s access must be submitted through the by the employee’s supervisor.
Badge Pick-Up Only
Badges may be retrieved in the badging office on the 1st floor of the ϱ ISD Central Office building, 4000 S. I-H 35 Frontage Rd., 78704.
The ϱ ISD Badge Team is available for appointments Mondays and Tuesdays and available for pick-ups Monday through Thursday from 7:30-11:45am and 1:00-4:30pm.
You will be notified once your badge is ready for pick-up. Please keep in mind that we do not accept walk-ins and badges are not able to be delivered.

Yes. Admins at your current campus do not need to take up your badge in this case. Your future worksite administrator can request that your access be updated.

A ticket can be submitted through ϱ Help. Your name must be updated in ERP before entering the request.

You may send your badge to the ϱ Badging Office or give your badge to your campus admin or direct supervisor.

ϱ ISD Badging Office does not support badge usage for anything other than access control in our facilities. Any issues with the time clock or printer/copier must be reported to the ϱ Help Desk @ 512-414-8324 (from an ϱ phone dial ext. 48324) or go to the ϱ Help tile in the portal.

Badge access to a different worksite must be submitted by the department’s direct supervisor or the administrator from the future location.

Request a sub pass from the front office of the school at which you are subbing. You will need to sign for the badge when you arrive and return it when you leave each day.

If your picture is more than 3 years old, we must have an updated photo. Your photo can be attached when submitting a ticket through ϱ Help.

It’s likely that a door panel at your school is not functioning. In this scenario, badges that were recently made will not function but older badges will. A work order must be submitted by the campus administrator to fix this but you can call 512-414-1162 so that the access control specialist can determine if this is the case.

No, you must pick up your own ϱ Badge with a valid photo ID. No one else will be permitted to pick up a badge on your behalf.
