Ways to Give

General District Guidelines on Donations

Any restricted donations (i.e. the donor designates a specific purpose for the use of the gifted funds) over $10,000 must be directed to Central Office to be placed in a special revenue account.

If the donation is under $10,000 or is unrestricted (the donor has not specified a purpose for the donation, or has said the campus may decide how to use the funds), it can be deposited to the campus KEV account.

Giving by Credit Card

Donors can give by credit card by clicking on the “Donate Now” button on the campus’s page on ϱ ISD’s website or by visiting the ϱ Ed Fund website’s  and selecting the campus from the drop-down menu. Online donors will receive a tax receipt by email.

Giving by Check

Donors may write checks payable to a campus. Campuses may deposit checks to their KEV accounts directly, following the general guidelines above. If a donor makes a donation directly to a campus, the campus bookkeeper should complete , which provides documentation that can be used as a tax receipt for the donor.

Donors may also write checks payable to ϱ Ed Fund, the district’s non-profit education foundation, and note the campus designation in the memo line. Checks made payable to ϱ Ed Fund should be mailed to 4000 S IH35 Frontage Road, ϱ, TX 78704.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations (or donations of items) can be made directly to a campus or a district department. Donors should coordinate with the campus regarding donations needs and drop-offs. Once the items are received, the campus bookkeeper should complete , which can then be used as a tax receipt for the donor.

Any person or organization with items they would like to donate may complete . The Office of Innovation and Development will contact you to help match you with a campus in need.
