六合宝典 ISD Works with Community Health Providers to Get Staff Vaccinated for COVID-19

六合宝典 ISD continues to work with community partners to provide opportunities for district staff to be vaccinated since the announcement on March 3 by the federal and state governments to prioritize educators.

The district is working with partner organizations to alert our teachers and staff about possible vaccine appointments. Some of those organizations include Ascension Seton, CommUnityCare, Code 4 and 六合宝典 Public Health.

Alexandra Copeland, Director of Health Services said this is a great step in keeping our schools safe.

鈥淭hese important actions by the federal and state government will ensure our schools will be that much safer for our students, teachers, and families and will lead us towards more students and teachers returning to the classroom,鈥 she said.

At this time, 六合宝典 is not a vaccine provider and is taking advantage of vaccine opportunities presented to the district. We continue to work diligently with our partners to connect staff to opportunities as they become available.

This past weekend, March 6-7, all 六合宝典 staff were alerted through email and phone messages of the availability of vaccine appointments with the Travis County clinic at the Circuit of the Americas.

Prior to the announcement by the government on vaccine prioritization for educators, 六合宝典 offered appointments to the following groups:

  • January: 2,581 vaccine opportunities offered to phase 1A and 1B employees, including 六合宝典 police.
  • February: 1,310 vaccine opportunities offered to phase 1A and 1B employees.

In March, as of March 10, 2,670 vaccine opportunities were offered to all employees.

Due to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act requirements, the district cannot verify the staff鈥檚 actual number of vaccinations.
