ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD Food Service will provide free curbside, seven-day meal packs at eight ÁùºÏ±¦µä polling sites on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in addition to the regular weekly meal distribution. Sites will serve meals from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., or until all packages are distributed.
ÁùºÏ±¦µä will serve free meals at the following polling sites:
- Elementary schools: Davis, Zilker
- Middle schools: Bailey, Bedichek, O. Henry, Small
- High schools: Navarro Early College High School
- Facilities: ÁùºÏ±¦µä Performing Arts Center
Langford and Pleasant Hill elementary schools are also ÁùºÏ±¦µä polling sites, but will not serve meals on Election Day. These schools, along with all other ÁùºÏ±¦µä weekly curbside meal sites, will operate the regular schedule, serving seven-day meal packs on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Meals are free for any child under 19, or those over 19 who utilize special education resources or who are enrolled in school to complete the requirements for a high school diploma. Parents or caregivers may receive meals without children present by providing documentation (e.g., birth certificate, student ID card, report card, attendance record) at the point of meal service.
