Join ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD for its Splash into summer reading with some of ÁùºÏ±¦µä’s favorite authors from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Performing Arts Center, 1500 Barbara Jordon Blvd.
The event is free and open to the public and is a celebration of books and reading for students and their families. Featuring exciting authors, interactive sessions, hands-on activities, book signings, and more, the Splash event is geared toward readers in grades 3 through 6, but all are welcome.
Brought to you by ÁùºÏ±¦µä Libraries in partnership with BookPeople and the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Public Library, the Splash is part of ÁùºÏ±¦µä's five Book Dive summer reading program, which encourages all students to read at least five books of their choice over the summer.
