ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD, in partnership with the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Board of Realtors, is hosting a tour of the district's secondary fine arts programs. The realtors are invited to tour the campuses and interact with students and staff to better understand ÁùºÏ±¦µä offerings as they work with potential clients to find homes in the area.

Tour Highlights
Lamar Middle School - 9:40 a.m.
The school provides a robust program for students pursuing accelerated arts curriculum as fine arts majors. Lamar Fine Arts Academy offers its students enriching opportunities in the areas of band, orchestra, classical guitar, choir, dance, theater arts, visual arts, digital arts/media and creative writing. In 2013 and 2014, Lamar Middle School's Jazz Factory was ranked as the top middle school jazz ensemble in the nation by The Foundation for Music Education.
McCallum High School - 11:10 a.m.
The campus is located in the heart of North Central ÁùºÏ±¦µä. McCallum's inclusive culture provides equal access for all students on campus to explore a wide variety of challenging academic pathways, specialized fine arts courses, competitive sports teams and clubs for diverse interests. Established in 1993 as ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD's districtwide fine arts-intensive high school program, the fine arts academy at McCallum provides an exemplary arts education program for ninth- through 12th-grade students to pursue an accelerated arts curriculum as fine arts majors.
