Students at Anderson High School and Crockett Early College High School have new opportunities for career training. The Crockett program, open this year, and the Anderson program, opening next year, will allow students to take classes toward an associate's degree in a specialized field during the school day.
The district will host two unveiling events to celebrate the announcement of the new programs. Crockett and Anderson will join LBJ and Reagan early college high schools as Career Launch campuses.
Crockett ECHS Career Launch: Careers in Construction Technology
The Crockett ECHS program is made possible through a grant from the Texas Education Agency. Students can earn an associate degree in construction management from ÁùºÏ±¦µä Community College as part of the program.

Anderson Career Launch: Careers in Engineering Technology
The Anderson Career Launch program will open for the 2019–20 school year with a focus on engineering technology. Students who complete the program will fulfill the requirements to apply for the Texas A&M University College of Engineering Academy at ACC, supported by Chevron.
