Crossing guard and students demonstrate safety at crosswalks
ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD and the city of ÁùºÏ±¦µä will hold a press conference during the Back to School Bash to promote safe travels to and from school. The Back to School Bash informs ÁùºÏ±¦µä parents and students about district and community resources available to families for a safe and successful start to the new school year. This is an initiative of the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Department of Communications and Community Engagement and the city of ÁùºÏ±¦µä Safe Routes to School Program. More than 3,000 backpacks full of school supplies will be given away, along with a limited number of car seats, immunizations and haircuts to school-aged children at this free event.
