"In a June 21 media story, there was information included about the proposed projects to help alleviate overcrowding in Northwest ÁùºÏ±¦µä. ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD would like to clarify that a total of $91.8 million in bond funds were included to serve the Northwest ÁùºÏ±¦µä community, including $60 million to relieve overcrowding at Doss and Hill elementary schools, along with additional money to start phasing a remodel of Murchison and address critical deficiencies at Anderson. The FMP does recognize the need to relieve overcrowding in the area and our district leadership has prioritized that need in the bond discussions.
We are confident that our administration and Board of Trustees included the highest priority projects that would bring 21st-century learning spaces to our district."
