Life Time Foundation grants ÁùºÏ±¦µä $600,000
The Life Time Foundation is presenting $600,000 to ÁùºÏ±¦µä Nutrition and Food Services to support the launch of a second food truck, cafeteria salad bars, breakfast in the classroom and culinary training for staff.
What: ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD Nutrition and Food Services is celebrating the . The event will begin with a check presentation from the Life Time Foundation, followed by remarks. Travis Early College High School students will provide entertainment during lunch.
Menu samples will be provided following the presentation. Meals will also be available for purchase at the food truck. An adult lunch is $4 and includes a burger, vegetable and/or fruit sides and milk or tea.
The menu will be globally themed, handmade beef burgers or vegetarian garden burgers.
• Mekong Burger topped with pineapple chutney and hoisin sauce
• Mediterranean Burger topped with Greek salad, feta cheese and tzatziki sauce
• Tuscan Burger topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and fresh basil
• Yucatan Burger topped with guacamole, pico de gallo and cotija cheese

Where: Travis Early College High School, 1211 E. Oltorf St.
Directions: Enter from South IH-35 access road, just south of Oltorf Street, past Denny's and Farmers Insurance. Park in the lot off the IH-35 frontage road. The food truck will be in the adjacent campus parking lot.
