KLRU to Host ÁùºÏ±¦µä Interim Superintendent Dr. Paul Cruz at Town Hall Meeting

KLRU's public affairs program Civic Summit invites students, teachers and community members to ask ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD’s finalist for superintendent, Dr. Paul Cruz, questions in a town hall discussion format.

What: The Civic Summit will be open to the public to attend, free of charge but RSVP required. RSVP at klru.org/rsvp.

Background: ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Paul Cruz is the sole finalist for the position of permanent superintendent of the region’s largest school district. Before the school board votes to confirm him, KLRU's public affairs program Civic Summit invites students, teachers and community members to ask him questions. Maggio and PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Lab All-Star Kennedy Huff will moderate this town hall discussion.

This town hall will be taped to air on at 9 p.m. on Jan. 22 on KLRU. Texas Mutual provides support for Civic Summit. The town hall will be livestreamed 7–8:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at .
