AUSTIN, Texas—The ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD Office of Academics, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Division at ÁùºÏ±¦µä Community College, invites the community to the Vision + Voice reception, an event featuring student poem videos and a poster gallery of the winning poems.

What: In addition, ÁùºÏ±¦µä Office of Academics staff will announce the launch of Voiceprint, the digital press of the district to display student and teacher literacy work. See Voiceprint (goes live Friday, Sept. 19)

Background: The reception follows the successful launch of the Vision + Voice poetry contest, an initiative of the Literacy Action Plan to celebrate student writing.
ÁùºÏ±¦µä students submitted more than 800 poems. One winning poem was selected per grade level and was paired with an ACC student art piece.
