This weekend, more than 500 community partners will work together to beautify Wooldridge Elementary School.
Who: More than 500 community partners, including members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, North ÁùºÏ±¦µä Civic Association and the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Police Department
When: 7:45–11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13
Where: Wooldridge Elementary School, 1412 Norseman Terrace
Background: This project is part of the Restore Rundberg Project and the goal is to clean up the Rundberg area, which faces maintenance challenges.
The beautification project includes:
- Building a walking trail;
- Landscaping;
- Tilling up dirt and planting wildflowers;
- Spreading mulch around the outdoor classrooms;
- Cleaning the picnic area;
- Cleaning and restoring the garden area;
- Painting columns in the hallways;
- Organizing reading storage room and library;
- Assisting teachers with classroom projects.
