AUSTIN, TX—ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD is providing its families an opportunity to obtain information and resources to assist in the education of their children. The free, two-day conference includes male and female summits on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 16-17.
Who: ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Greater Calvary Rites of Passage, Iglesia de Cristo Roca Eterna and ÁùºÏ±¦µä Area Alliance of Black School Educators
What: Conference to prepare families with tools and strategies to help students achieve in school, including mentoring while building strong characteristics in young men and women. Parents will benefit from learning how to engage successfully with their children.
When/Where:
Friday, Aug. 16, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Male Summit, Reagan High School, 7104 Berkman Drive
- Female Summit, LBJ High School, 7309 Lazy Creek Drive
Saturday, Aug. 17, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
All families are invited to attend the conference on Saturday at Reagan High School. A talent showcase will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.
