ÁùºÏ±¦µä Seeks Community Input at Public Hearings for Potential Bond Package in 2013

Share Feedback Jan. 22 at Crockett High School and Jan. 29 at Reagan High School

ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Texas—Members of the public will have an opportunity to address ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD’s Board of Trustees and provide feedback at two public hearings regarding a potential Bond Program in 2013.  The meetings will be followed by a televised special board meeting.

Background: Bond Program referendum funds only may be used for capital improvements such as new construction, permanent structural improvement or restoration that enhances a property’s value. Each bond referendum has a pre-defined scope and once it has been passed, all work funded with those bond monies, including contingency funds, must align with that scope.

Speakers may sign up the day of the hearing from 7:45 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. at the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Carruth Administration Center, 1111 W. 6th St., superintendent's office. Sign up will resume from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Crockett Jan. 22 and Reagan Jan. 29.
