ÁùºÏ±¦µä Community Meetings for Potential AAFRs

AUSTIN, TX—This week, ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD invites families and community members to two meetings at which they can learn about possible academic scenarios for a South High School and potential facility renovations for Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School.

The meetings are part of ÁùºÏ±¦µä's process to gather input and feedback from families and community members about the potential 2013-14 Annual Academic and Facilities Recommendations.  

Child care and interpretation services will be provided at both meetings.     

Thursday: South High School 

In 2008, voters approved a bond program that authorized ÁùºÏ±¦µä to purchase land for a future south high school.

What: Presentation regarding the potential academic scenarios for a South High School and community-focused activity to address future academic programming options for the school.  

When: 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8

Where: Akins High School Cafeteria, 10701 South 1st St.

Saturday: Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School 

The Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School serve special education students in ÁùºÏ±¦µä. 

What: Presentation regarding potential facility renovations for Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School and how they could affect academic programming.  

When: 9-10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10 

Where: Cafeteria at Clifton Career Development School, 1519 Coronado Hills Dr.
