ÁùºÏ±¦µä, TX—The ÁùºÏ±¦µä invites the community to attend a special presentation tomorrow evening by Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu, a celebrated author and speaker who will present on ways to close the racial academic achievement gap and to develop students to become self-disciplined.
The event will include remarks by Dr. Kunjufu and ÁùºÏ±¦µä students and leaders, as well as a question and answer session.
Dr. Kunjufu is a graduate of Morgan State University and the Union Graduate College. An expert in issues related to racial disparities in public education, Dr. Kunjufu is the author of 35 books and has been a guest on "Oprah" as well as a frequent guest on "The Michael Baisden Show." He has spoken at universities across the country and has provided consulting services to many urban school districts.
