Superintendent to Join ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD Students in Effort to Set World Reading Record

ÁùºÏ±¦µä, TX— ÁùºÏ±¦µä (ÁùºÏ±¦µä) Superintendent Meria Carstarphen will read a favorite story book with Casis Elementary School students during "Read for the Record," as part of a worldwide effort to raise awareness for the need to read to children at a young age. Superintendent Carstarphen will join children and adults across the country to set two new reading records – for the largest shared reading experience and, for the first time this year, the largest digital reading experience. Carstarphen will read the official "Read for the Record" book, Llama Llama Red Pajama, by Anna Dewdney.
