DESCRIPTION:For more information please check the meeting agenda. A SHAC is
	 a school board appointed advisory group of individuals who represent diff
	erent segments of the community. By law\, a majority of the members must b
	e persons who are parents of students enrolled in the district and who are
	 not employed by the district. The ÁùºÏ±¦µä SHAC is made up of parents\, commu
	nity members\, students\, and school staff working together to improve the
	 health of all students and families through coordinated school health pro
	grams. Texas law requires all school districts to have a SHAC. Learn more 
	about SHAC Bylaws. The ÁùºÏ±¦µä School Health Advisory Council meets on a Wedn
	esday of every month\, with the exception of July and August\, from 6:00
	–7:30 p.m. Meetings will be held in a training room at the new ÁùºÏ±¦µä Head
	quarters located at 4000 S. IH-35 Frontage Road\, 78704 unless otherwise n
	oted. Membership to the SHAC is by annual school board appointment. Meetin
