Govalle Elementary families were treated to curbside coffee and sweet bread in their cars Tuesday morning as they dropped their students off at school.
“The curbside coffee event was a great way to reconnect parents to our campus staff,” said Yasmin Espinoza, Parent Support Specialist at Govalle.
In addition to coffee and snacks, Govalle staff including Espinoza, Principal Paula Reyes and others handed out school swag and information regarding registration for the upcoming school year. Roadie the Govalle Roadrunner even made an appearance!
“Getting to see parents in person builds a sense of community and reassures parents that they are leaving their students with people that love and have their best interest at heart,” said Espinoza.
We are #ϱProud of Govalle for providing breakfast and registration assistance to our deserving families.
