ÁùºÏ±¦µä Hosts FAFSA Information Sessions

ÁùºÏ±¦µä’s Office of College & Career Readiness is hosting virtual information sessions for students and parents on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form. 

The FAFSA for the 2021-2022 school year is now live, and ÁùºÏ±¦µä is kicking off the FAFSA completion campaign for the class of 2021. Visit the for a full list of dates, times and locations and to pre-register.  

The virtual sessions are hosted in partnership with the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Chamber of Commerce, ÁùºÏ±¦µä Community College, and other college access partner organizations in Central Texas. Sessions will include information on different types of college financial aid available. Attendees will get an overview of the FAFSA form and the opportunity to ask questions. During each virtual help session, trained FASFA completion volunteers will be available to assist students and families.

All Class of 2021 seniors and/or their families are encouraged to for at least one of the FASFA virtual help sessions.
 
The ÁùºÏ±¦µä Chamber of Commerce will automatically enter those who pre-register and complete their FASFA into a drawing for a $2,500 scholarship.

Access opportunities for college by completing the now. The earlier students complete it, the more access they will have to access the highest amount of financial aid. The FASFA priority deadline, but not the final deadline, is Jan. 15.
