ÁùºÏ±¦µä’s Salute Honors Those with Passion for Education

ÁùºÏ±¦µä is #ÁùºÏ±¦µäProud this week as we recognize some of the district's most outstanding members for their continued dedication to student excellence and achievement in our schools.

Salute is ÁùºÏ±¦µä’s annual celebration that awards members of the ÁùºÏ±¦µä community for their passion for working in education.

This year, to ensure the district maintains a safe environment during COVID-19, the Office of Human Capital and Talent Acquisition and Development team as well as ÁùºÏ±¦µä Partners in Education hosted a virtual Salute 2020 Celebration to honor the great work of our staff and recognize all of our award finalists and winners. The ceremony was streamed live on ÁùºÏ±¦µä.TV and Facebook. 

This year's winners included Clifton CDS Principal Tony Dishner, Martin Middle School AP Amanda Arguijo, Mills Elementary Counselor Kristina Kern, Pleasant Hill Librarian Megan Kite, and ÁùºÏ±¦µä police officer Wayne Sneed.

The virtual Salute Awards Ceremony was broadcasted on ÁùºÏ±¦µä.TV on Wednesday, at 6:30, friends family and the community were invited on social media using by using the #ÁùºÏ±¦µäSalute2020.
