Healthy Partnership Increases Access to Services for Northeast ÁùºÏ±¦µä Families

ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD has partnered with Central Health, the city of ÁùºÏ±¦µä Public Health and Travis County Health & Human Services to provide a new location for families to receive non-clinical services.

ÁùºÏ±¦µä students and families recently celebrated the partnership with a grand opening pep rally and community welcome at Overton.

Northeast Health Resource Center is in Portable 7B located at Overton Elementary School, 7201 Colony Loop Drive.

Services provided include:

  • Eligibility and enrollment services for Central Health's Medical Access Program (MAP), Medicaid, CHIP and Healthy Texas Women's Family Planning Program.
  • Screening services for blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol.
  • Diabetes education.
  • Basic needs application assistance.
  • WIC services.

These services are available on different days from different partners.
