Beginning June 22 and ending Aug. 14, ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD will operate on a summer efficiency schedule.
The program is design to reduce energy costs, and in 2014, saved the district about $716,000.
All schools and offices adopt a four-day week during this time. Business hours will be 7 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday–Thursday. All district and campus offices will be closed on Fridays.
The district also will be closed for one week, from Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 3. All ÁùºÏ±¦µä offices and schools will be closed during this period.
ÁùºÏ±¦µä's regular, five-day workweek will resume Monday, Aug. 17. Classes for the 2015–16 school year will begin Monday, Aug. 24.
