ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD is proud to celebrate Better Hearing and Speech Month, May 1–31.
More than 85 speech language pathologists serve students in elementary, middle and high schools throughout the district.
Speech language pathologists evaluate and treat children with educationally relevant or functional communication challenges.
Treatment includes addressing articulation impairments, language impairments, fluency disorders and voice disorders that can negatively affect students academically.
Speech language pathologists and audiologists collaborate with parents, teachers, administration, support staff and community agencies to provide child-centered interventions for students.
Join ÁùºÏ±¦µä in thanking speech language pathologists and audiologists who contributes to the success of our students through their dedicated service.
