Metz Elementary School Walk Against Hate

Metz Elementary School students, parents, faculty and staff are joining together in a Walk Against Hate.

Participants will walk around the school and convene at the front of Metz for a short presentation. Walkers will wear a Metz shirt or white T-shirt to show support of diversity, peace, tolerance, love and acceptance.

The walk—part of ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD's No Place for Hate Initiative—begins at 8:15 a.m. March 13 at the school, 84 Robert Martinez Jr. For more information, please contact Laura Ferrer at (512) 414-4408.

Launched in 2001 by the Anti-Defamation League, is a national initiative that provides educators and students with resources to ensure that anti-bias and diversity education are an integral part of the school curriculum. It helps to create and sustain inclusive school environments where all students feel valued and have the opportunity to succeed by promoting respect for individual difference while challenging bigotry and prejudice.
