Bowie High School is proud to host the first ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD Technology Fair, showcasing technologies used in classrooms throughout the district.
Teachers will demonstrate programs incorporating Google Classroom, Code.org, Maker Spaces, 3D printing, iTunes University, SXSW gaming, blended learning, QR codes, podcasts and more.
Five keynote speakers will address audiences during the event, with presentations that include blended learning, HIVExRadio student productions and integration technology to enhance engagement.
Throughout the day, there also will be short information sessions for teachers about Edmodo, Discovery Education Teaching Strategies, Student Cloud Resources and Code.org.
Everyone is welcome to join students and teachers as they share their experiences with technology in the classroom.
This free event is 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Feb. 28, at Bowie High School, 4103 W Slaughter Lane.
