This weekend, more than 500 community partners, including members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, North ÁùºÏ±¦µä Civic Association and the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Police Department, will work together to beautify Wooldridge Elementary School. This project is part of the Restore Rundberg Project and the goal is to clean up the Rundberg area, which faces maintenance challenges. The project will take place 7:45–11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at Wooldridge Elementary School.
The beautification project includes:
- Building a walking trail;
- Landscaping;
- Tilling up dirt and planting wildflowers;
- Spreading mulch around the outdoor classrooms;
- Cleaning the picnic area;
- Cleaning and restoring the garden area;
- Painting columns in the hallways;
- Organizing reading storage room and library;
- Assisting teachers with classroom projects.
