Beginning June 23 and ending Aug. 8, ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD will operate on a summer efficiency schedule to reduce energy costs. The district's average savings from the summer efficiency program is about $486,000.
All schools and offices will adopt a four-day week during this time. Business hours will be 7 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday–Thursday. All district and campus offices will be closed on Fridays.
The district also will be closed for one week from Monday, June 30, through Friday, July 4. All ÁùºÏ±¦µä offices and schools will be closed during this period.
Independence Day is a holiday and employees are not scheduled to work Friday, July 4. The district will resume summer efficiency hours Monday, July 7.
ÁùºÏ±¦µä's regular, five-day workweek will resume Monday, Aug. 11. Classes for the 2014-14 school year will begin Monday, Aug. 25.
