This summer, departments from across the district collaborated to offer a Differentiation Institute for teachers in ÁùºÏ±¦µä. More than 200 teachers gathered at Bowie High School this summer to attend sessions that explained how to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students. During the institute, teachers selected six sessions from over 80 presentation options, which were led by representatives from the Office of Academics, Department of Technology, and Department of Learning Support. As a culminating activity for the institute, vertical teams joined together to share their learning experiences and discuss implications for the upcoming school year. The institute serves as just one example of how ÁùºÏ±¦µä is focused on developing the whole child through innovative and effective teaching strategies.
