ÁùºÏ±¦µä Students Perform Well at Area Latin Competition

On Saturday, Jan. 18, dozens of ÁùºÏ±¦µä students competed at the Area Latin Convention, which hosted scholars from from 25 middle schools and high schools across the area.

Led by Latin instructor Debbi Laake, 33 students from Small Middle School took home the Second Place Academic Sweepstakes trophy at the competition. Additionally, the Latin II team from Kealing Middle School, led by Latin teacher Linda Zappa, took home the Third Place Certamen award. The LASA Latin club, led by Byron Browne, won the Third Place Sweepstakes trophy in the high school division.
