Pamela Hall, the district’s Executive Director of Human Resources, has been named the 2011 Personnel Administrator of the Year by the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators. TASPA, a professional organization that primarily comprises Texas public school human resources administrators, selects awardees based on their dedication and leadership in the field. A well respected and admired member of the ÁùºÏ±¦µä team, Hall certainly fits the criteria.
Hall, who has worked in the district for 33 years, began her career as an English teacher at Porter Junior High School. She served as assistant principal at Porter Junior High School and McCallum High School. Before joining the central administration team, she served as principal at O. Henry Middle School for six years. A valued member of the ÁùºÏ±¦µä team, Hall has held a leadership position in the Department of Human Resources since 1996.
In addition to her role as Executive Director of Human Resources she currently sits on the Certification Advisory Committee for the Texas Education Agency. In 2008 and 2009 she served as President for TASPA.
Congratulations Pam!
