The ÁùºÏ±¦µä Independent school district is pleased to announce that it has been chosen to partner with CASEL, a leader in Social Emotional Learning. Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) ensures that children and adults are engaged as life-long learners who are self-aware, caring and connected to others, and responsible in their decision-making. ÁùºÏ±¦µä ISD is collaborating with CASEL, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning to bring this nationwide initiative to ÁùºÏ±¦µä. CASEL's main focus is to teach children five main points of becoming a better learner: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
